Tiger Stripes!

Some in progress shots. Starting the cane (top left) with brown, orange and yellow porcelain layers. Once the cane has enough layers and detail, slices are then cut and wrapped around a white porcelain bead body. Finally rolled and shaped into rounds and rondelles.

These will need to dry very slowly for a couple of weeks so the individual colours don't crack.

Next they'll have a bisque firing, then they'll each be wet sanded, then it's 3 coats of a clear gloss glaze on each and then a final 1220°c firing before they'll be ready to go.
